My journey to helping you

I call my journey to Reiki a 'little crisis,' but in reality, it was a profound awakening. At 23, studying biology, I was engulfed in a world fascinated with the end of life. This perspective, however, felt too bleak, too devoid of the vitality I yearned to understand and preserve. My inner turmoil reached a crescendo, leading me to a breaking point where traditional therapies and breathwork felt inadequate. I craved something deeper, more spiritual.

It was during this quest that I experienced my first Reiki session. It was as if a light had been switched on in a long-darkened room. I realized that treating the body as just a machine, as my scientific background suggested, was an incomplete approach. This revelation was not only about healing but also about understanding the intricate connections between humans, culture, and various healing techniques. My education in anthropology further broadened this understanding, revealing how diverse healing methods resonate differently across cultures.

Today, my approach at The Reiki Garden is deeply rooted in this blend of science and spirituality. I particularly resonate with individuals from the STEM fields, as my methods bring a serious, analytical tone to the practice of Reiki. My aim is to demystify and break the stigmas attached to Reiki, making it accessible and understandable to everyone, irrespective of their background. The journey of over 600 words here is not just mine but also an invitation to you – to explore the possibilities of healing and understanding that transcend conventional boundaries.

I invite you to join me at The Reiki Garden, where your journey towards holistic well-being awaits. Let's embark on this path together, nurturing our mind, body, and spirit in unison.
